    7. Many women are genetically inclined to be hairy; certain ethnicity’s are hairier than others. However, there is another ‘condition’ which could be the cause: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). Women with PCOS generally suffer from hirsutism (hairiness), obesity, amenorrhea (absence of menses), oligomenorrhea (infrequent menses), and subsequent infertility. If you are experiencing these symptoms, you may have PCOS. Either way, if you are concerned about hair growth, a visit to your gynecologist is in order. Other hormonal imbalances could also be the cause.
